Roms Up

Those of you who play Rom's in your computer know how often websites that host them, stop updating them over one reason or another and that is really annoying for those who used them very often.

However, I've found a website that has been constantly updated for the last 8 years and it is very easy to use when it comes to searching for older games.

Romsup is a Brazilian website that despite being in Portuguese is not hard to navigate, even without using a translator.

Each section is dedicated to one type of console, from SNES to the latest 3DS and it even allows you to download the best emulator for each console, not to mention that it divides the various games by genre meaning that you won't need to search every inch of the website for what you want.

So, if you're looking for a Rom or emulator and can't find it, try this website and see if it can't help you.

One of the things that annoys me the most is turning my computer on in the morning only to be blinded by the bright lights form the monitor or when I use it at night and the light make my eyes cry when it begins to grow dark.

Moo0 Voice Recorder

No one can deny that nowadays, there are a lot of people who record their own voice into their computer, be it for Karaoke or to send a voice message to someone or even comment on your videos ( a raising tendency among video game walkthroughs).

However, sometimes it's difficult to figure out how do those programs work as there are many buttons and options to chose from.

So Moo0 Voice Recorder came to be as a simple alternative to most recorder softwares with his organized, clean and customized interface, it's minimalistic design and finally, it's separate settings menu which let's you configure recording quality and file naming.

The interface is simple with a drop-down list with 3 recording modes: Only voice, which records input form the microphone; Only pc sound, which records system audio sources and finally Voice and pc sound which records both.

Furthermore, it's audio recording is excellent, recording good quality audio which can be played back with a volume slider and a counter and it offers plenty other options like cutting the silence and adjusting audio quality.

It's only problem the way I see it, is the fact that it can only record MP3 and WAV formats which might restrict your options when it comes to recording time and compressing your audio format and remember that the designers English isn't perfect, so there might be a few spelling mistakes.

Though all things said, it's still one of the best audio recording program around and an excellent tool for those who aren't used to using this type of software, so try it and see the results for yourself.
