One of the things that annoy people the most when using the internet, is the fact that, no matter where you look, you only find ads.

How many people have cursed the fact that some websites have more ads than content or that those ads insert spyware in your computer sometimes?

In order to fight that, I recommend AdFender, a free ad blocker tool that not only works with all major browsers but also some less common ones, too, such as Opera, Safari, Maxthon, Lunascape, Avant, K-Meleon, and Epic.

It's usage it's extremely simple, just activate it and reload the page to see gray rectangles in place of ads furthermore, it runs on the background meaning that it won't consume vast amounts of memory without your permission.

It even comes with several tools like add or remove allowed Web sites, select apps for filtering, and manage your IE cookies, history, and log files.

However, be careful because the program may block the content of other websites if it thinks it might be ads resulting in a great mess and some ads might not be blocked if it thinks they're a part of the website's content.

But despite that it's still a good enough app and a good way to get rid of those annoying ads that make the internet a less pleasant place so give it a try.
