YTD Video Downloader

Like many of you, there are at least a video or 2 from Youtube or other similar websites that I would have liked to download in order to watch it when I want to however, many of those websites do not allow you to download their contents.

In response to that YTD Video Downloader came to be and thanks to it's speed and easy to use interface rose to become one of the best of it's type and furthermore it allows one to resume downloads even if the internet connection goes down so you don't have to worry about the fact your connection going down just as you're about to finish the download.

Even better is the fact that it works with multiple websites like Bing, Dailymotion and recently even Youku and it even allows you to download entire playlists instead of just one video at the time furthermore, it can even convert the videos for iPad, PSP or even cellphone formats.

This of course doesn't mean it doesn't have a few problems like the fact that it only downloads MP4 formats unless you pay for it's paid version, meaning that the conversion will have to be done by hand and this part of the program has been known to be glitchy furthermore, it will sometimes break your videos into multiple files and if even one of those is completed when the internet crashes, it will restart the download from the beginning even the ones that are already complete.

There is also the fact that you can't resize the interface and the multiple video download option is only available in the pro version.

But despite all the problems it's still one of the best tools available and it even comes with it's own video player so, if you like to download videos to see later then this fast and mostly free to use tool is what you need.
