Many of you must already know about this website but for those that do not know of it, here's a brief explanation.

Scribd is a online library that has been operational since 2006 and has become one of the largest if not the largest document sharing website, hosting several millions of documents, pdf's and eBooks for free.

Most file formats are supported from the regular one from Microsoft to others like OpenOffice meaning that you don't have to convert files you wish to upload furthermore, it comes in several languages so understanding the website's instructions won't be a problem for those whose domain of English isn't very good.

Another good thing is the fact that documents can be made private or public allowing you to publish documents you only wish a few to access and it also allows one to put them all together in collections so that it is easier to find similar documents by the same author.

From scientific works to home-made eBooks, Scribd is a true online library and a bonus for those who wish to do research either for school or for work without having to go through hundreds  of websites in search of materials and it also can be embeddable in any website or blog, making it simple to embed documents in their original layout regardless of file format.

So if you can't find information online on a specific subject give a try to this online library and you just might be surprised with the results.
